These Terms define the conditions for the use of UTAU voicebanks distributed by Tono.

0. Copyright

All copyrights to these voicebanks, as well as all associated audio data, illustrations, and settings, belong to Tono.

These Terms do not transfer any copyrights; they grant permission to use the voicebanks only within the scope defined herein.

1. About the Use of the Voicebanks

◆ Redistribution of Original Voice Data

Use or publication in a form that enables unauthorized redistribution of the original voice data is prohibited.

Examples:

• Using the original voice data directly in videos or music and publishing it in a way that allows third parties to extract and reuse it.

• Assigning completely different names or appearances to the voicebanks and redistributing them as separate voicebanks without permission.

• Redistributing the original voicebanks themselves without the permission of the creator or administrator.

• Modifying the voicebanks to make them appear as different voicebanks and redistributing or publishing them without permission, or any similar actions.
   

2. Public Order and Compliance with Law

Use of the voicebanks in works that include the following content is prohibited:

• Content that degrades, defames, attacks, or excessively ridicules specific individuals, groups, nations, or ethnicities.

• Content that includes personally identifiable information of real individuals.

• Content intended to promote, confess to, or otherwise relate to criminal acts or violations of the law.
   

3. Political and Religious Use

Use of the voicebanks for political or religious claims, promotion, criticism, or activities is prohibited.

However, creative works such as “The Bible,” hymns, Buddhist chants, political commentary, and topical satire are exceptionally permitted.

4. Works Containing Sexual or Graphic Content

When using the voicebanks in works containing R-18 or higher sexual or graphic content, users must comply with the rules of the platform where the work is published, clearly indicate R-18 or R-18G, and place an appropriate content warning.

5. Doujin and Commercial Use

◆ Commercial Use

These voicebanks may be used commercially by both individuals and corporations without prior notice or permission.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Distribution of doujin works

• Sale of music (CD, digital downloads, etc.)

• Monetization on video and music streaming services

• Publication of music as free BGM or royalty-free materials for commercial use
   

◆ Credit

When publishing works that use these voicebanks, credit is required as follows:

Basic format:

• Voicebank Name
   

When voicing another character:

• (CV: Voicebank Name)
   

Credits must be displayed in a place where third parties can clearly see them, such as video descriptions, work descriptions, or distribution pages.

◆ Sale of R-18 / R-18G Works

Age restrictions must be clearly applied, and purchasers’ age verification must be strictly enforced.

Selling such works to persons under the specified age is prohibited.

6. Special Cases

◆ Prohibited Songs

Use of the voicebanks in songs that strongly contain the following content is prohibited:

• Songs satirizing global political situations

• Songs criticizing or ridiculing specific countries or regions

• Songs mainly intended as political criticism
   

If it is difficult to judge, users must contact the administrator before publication.

Unauthorized publication may result in a request for removal of the work.

7. AI Training

Use of any voicebanks, illustrations, or other materials distributed by Tono for AI training is prohibited.
